Heritage Day at Maluti Muti Clarens: Music, Muti & Motion

Celebrate our roots, rhythm, and plant wisdom this Heritage Day as Maluti Muti Clarens presents Music, Muti & Motion!

Coinciding with the opening day of the annual Clarens Festival of Lights (running from 24 to 26 September), we are hosting a full day-to-night community gathering designed to connect our members and visitors through education, live soundscapes, and local hospitality.

Event Schedule & Highlights

  • 14:00 – 16:00 | Botanical Extracts Workshop
Kick off the afternoon with an educational masterclass exploring the artisanal craft and science of plant concentrates. Our team will guide you through solventless extraction methods (heat, pressure, and ice-water separation), the entourage effect, terpene preservation, and how different concentrate textures are achieved – Join us Upstairs at Maluti Muti.
  • 16:20 – Guess the weight winner Announcement
  • From 17:00 | Bring & Braai
The fires will be lit and the coals burning hot downstairs at the centre! Pack your favorite braai cuts, sides, and snacks, and settle in with friends and fellow club members for a traditional holiday braai.
  • 18:00 | Audioflower Live at Sunset
Experience the rich, soul-stirring acoustic sounds of Audioflower performing live as the sun sets over the Maluti Mountains.
